Foxhound Band Themes Launches!

Well – it’s finally here! Shane and I have been working hard in the background on launching our own premium themes for WordPress. Right now, we’re focused on creating some really great themes for bands. There aren’t very many options for bands to market their music to new and current fans online. It’s tough when considering the options – you could go with the slow, painful death of Myspace, the clunkiness of Bandspace, or the super-tight privacy settings on Facebook (especially difficult now since the ‘Suggest To Friends’ button is now permanently gone from pages). WordPress is the best option out there for bands to be in control of their own online hub for fans by uploading their own tunes, photos, tour dates, etc. with no restrictions.

We are a recording studio in Calgary, Alberta. I am very interested in purchasing your band theme. I see during check out that there is a space for a discount code. I have looked all over, but am unable to find one. Wondering if one does exist.
Also, do you have any sort of ‘return’ policy? Like a week trial period? I like the site, but am really wanting to make sure that we can create a versatile playlist on the player. In my experience with soundcloud, I can only post one song at a time…I’m wanting more of a player feel, but not myspace! We need to show the different styles and sounds of bands we are producing.
Thanks for any help with this matter.
Look forward to hearing from you.

The discount code spot is there because the online merchant that processes the payment automatically includes it. At this time we don’t have any promotions going on, sorry! Unfortunately, we can’t do trial periods due to the nature of the product being digital, it would be impossible for us to combat fraud and piracy this way. What I can say though is that we get a ton of great feedback on our themes and we pride ourselves with our support if you ever experience a problem 🙂

Soundcloud is a pretty great service and has an amazing widget. You can post more than one song. The first time I used it, I had the same problem because I didn’t know you had to create a ‘Set’ to get multiple songs in one player. Once I figured that out, it was easy sailing. Plus it looks like you can customize the colour of the player now so it can look even more integrated into the theme if you choose to. We have some instructions on our forum to show you how to use it: http://foxhoundbandthemes.com/support/showthread.php/20-Forget-Myspace!-Using-Soundcloud-on-your-theme!

Hope that helps and let me know if you have any more questions!
